This program provides information in the following ways:
Many of our clients first learned about Star services through Outreach and Information events. The program provides
orientation to STAR services and demonstrations of assistive technology to students from area colleges and universities as well as other members of the West Tennessee community.
The Resource Room at STAR has displays of brochures from many agencies who serve people with disabilities. The Resource Room also has computers set up with book-marked Internet sites that serve as resources for individuals with disabilities, their families, and professionals in health, education, and rehabilitation. |
